Adoremus ~ Holy Hour

Take an hour this Sunday to simply be still.

This weekend, Catholics across England and Wales will gather to honour Jesus present in the Eucharist.

In London there will be a national gathering, with bishops, priests and people together. Parishes everywhere are marking it at home with Masses, processions and Holy Hours.

Here at the Cathedral, we’re keeping a Holy Hour. It’s an hour of quiet prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, which is the consecrated Bread of the Mass, placed in the monstrance for us to come and pray in front of.

There’s nothing you need to know or do. Come in, sit down, stay for as long as you like.
